The real estate market is complex, and it’s always changing. The home sellers I work with benefit from my understanding of the complexities, and appreciate having the knowledge of a professional who has been through many of the market upturns and downturns, worked the marketing through inflation and recessions. I understand what it takes in the different markets, having worked through all of them since 1999.
It can be very emotional to sell your home. It’s been the four walls that have held and protected your family for years. Yet when you get down to it, it’s a business transaction that is needed so that you can achieve the next stage in your home ownership journey by selling your home at the best price possible. I take the emotional side of selling off of your shoulders, covering the detailed side of the transaction so that you can enjoy the process of the sale. I do as much of the work as possible for you, so that those emotions aren’t overwhelming to you or your family, and you can sell your house for a great price.
One of the things that I regularly hear from home sellers who come to me after having had little luck in finding an agent to help with their needs is “I never heard from them again.” That doesn’t happen with me. My communication is exceptional – and usually the only time you can’t reach me is overnight because even the best real estate agents need their sleep! I will always let you know if there is time that I won’t be available. Since I only work with 1 or 2 clients at a time, I always have time for you.
Some of the standard things that I do when you list your property with me:
- Great marketing. Your property listing is syndicated on over 100 websites, covering every real estate site possible so that your property gets maximum visibility.
- Professional photographs. 100% of our properties receive professional photography, which showcases your listing at its best.
- Social media marketing, which helps connect your new listing to an entire web of local real estate agents that I regularly work and network with.
- Schedule, market and host open houses when needed.
- Showing service. We use an appointment-setting service for showing your house, so that you feel safe and are in control of showings on your property. You will always know when someone is in your home and which agent they use – no surprises. You have 100% control over approving every showing – it’s never left to me, or to the other agent. And it always works around your schedule. You have a baby that naps from 2-4pm? No problem; we will block off that time so that you always know your kids can get their nap.
- Weekly check-ins with you, to see how the process is going, and what we need to refine. I always stay one step ahead on the process, so that you know what’s coming and can prepare.
- Referrals to all of the professionals and the resources that you need, for repairs on current home, suggestions on financing options, and educate you on the process.
While I sell your current house, I can also help you find your new dream home, whether that’s at the same time or later.
One thing I won’t do.
I don’t take on double-sided transactions. This is when one real estate agent represents both the buyer and the seller on one particular property. Your real estate agent should work solely in your best interest, no matter if you’re the buyer or you’re the seller. When the same agent is representing the person on both sides of that transaction, they’re trying to work in both party’s best interest at the same time.
I prefer to give all of my clients the individual attention that they deserve. If a situation comes up, such as you’ve found a buyer interested in your home who does not have a real estate agent and needs one, what I will do instead is connect the other party with one of the real estate agents that I know and trust who work at a different brokerage, so that my focus can remain on you, and they can have an agent who focuses on them. That way everyone is best served.
